The Doc Is In!
"To partner with my patients in reaching their health goals, I use the gentle and effective Activator Method. I love practicing Chiropractic and caring for patients with varieties of health needs. I believe it's very important to take the time to understand my patient's individual health concerns and develop a plan for recovery and wellness through Chiropractic. " -Dr. Mascali
Many of our patients initially visit our office for relief from pain. Some common conditions our patients are seeking help with include headaches, back pain, joint pain, sprains and overuse strains due to life's daily activities.
Chiropractors primarily care for patients by giving them what is called an adjustment. The purpose of the Chiropractic Adjustment is to correct and restore the spine to its natural state of function and mobility so it can do what it was designed to do...keep your body healthy and working well.
The Chiropractic Adjustment benefits our patients by reducing pain, muscle spasm, inflammation and nerve interference...all so you can feel well and enjoy your life more fully!
We understand the stress and pain our patients typically experience following an accident. We examine, diagnose and then develop an individualized plan of care for the unique type of soft tissue injuries which are often experienced after a traumatic incident.
On your initial visit, you will receive a thorough examination, explanation of our findings and begin a course for your recovery. We also work with the involved insurance companies on your behalf.
Many people only seek Chiropractic Care when they experience muscle or joint pain. However, it may surprise you to know that Chiropractic is very helpful in promoting your overall health and wellness.
Since your spine and nervous system control and coordinate all the many functions of your body, it makes sense that when your nervous system is free to function as designed, then ALL of the other systems in your body benefit as well!
We have many patients who visit for our office for care when they are feeling great! They are utilizing Chiropractic Care to support their wellness. Just as we visit a dentist regularly to prevent tooth decay or have our oil changed before our car breaks down, Chiropractic Adjustments often help to prevent future pain and problems from arising.
And to "piggy-back" on the "Prevention and Wellness" info above... if you are looking for improved function and performance in your workouts, during dance, playing golf or tennis, playing soccer, lacrosse or other sports, practicing martial arts, playing musical instruments, etc... - Chiropractic could become your best friend!
When your spine and nervous system operate with improved function, then it stands to reason that you will experience better flexibility and range of motion, more pain-free movement, as well as less stiffness and often a quicker recovery time after various activities.
We see patients pre and post game, marathon, concert, Iron-Man or other competition, etc... A number of our athlete and musician patients have reported that their Chiropractic Adjustments have been instrumental in their improved performance and recovery.
We love caring for our patients who are expecting! It's such an exciting time and we take it as a true honor to be able to be helpful throughout our patient's pregnancy.
First, it is important for you to know that Chiropractic has been found to be a safe and effective treatment for the unique physical changes and specialized needs that arise during pregnancy. Also, we use a gentle technique in our office that is perfect for pregnant patients!
We find that as a mom-to-be feels her center of gravity change, her ligaments loosen to prepare for birth and the weight of her baby increase, she can find relief from pain and spasm with gentle Chiropractic Adjustments. Many patients have reported that their pelvis and hips, as well as their low back feel much relieved after their Chiropractic visits.
Once the baby has arrived, the mother's needs continue - but can change. Now she is recovering from the birth, experiencing different sleeping habits and positions, feeding her baby often - generally using muscles for new patterns of movement than before. These new activities can strain the back, neck, shoulders and arms so we continue to treat the new mom with the same specialized TLC we were privileged to give during the pregnancy :)
As of January 1, 2022, a new Federal law, THE NO SURPRISE ACT, requires all health care providers to post a “Good Faith Estimate Notice” on their websites.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
